Bourley Woods, Church Crookham
Hampshire || Tags: countryside, Dog Friendly Pub, free car park, MOD land, quiet ||4.1 miles

Some details about the route:
TERRAIN: Woods, off road trails
SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIR: Some of the tracks are flat but I think it would be a struggle for pushchairs and wheelchairs
CAR PARKING: As this is MOD land there are no official car parks, it’s a case of finding a safe spot. Spots can be found along Bourley Road, just make sure you don’t block any of the entrances. You could also park along Beacon Hill Road, be very careful as it’s a very fast and busy road
AMENITIES: Do the bushes count as toilets? There are no amenities but there are places nearby, Church Crookham is the nearest village. There are a couple of pubs nearby – The Tweseldown and The Foresters
ABOUT THE ROUTE/WALK: There are so many paths in this area that no 2 walks will ever be the same. It’s a great place to explore and enjoy the lovely views, especially if you can find the high spots and look across the whole area. If you are going for the first time, make sure that you are confident you know where you are going and don’t get lost. It’s not a secure place so will need to be aware that the land is surrounded by roads. Another thing to be aware of is that as this is MOD land the army may be training so can be gunfire
TIPS: Be safe, from where you park to where you go during your walk. Consider recording your walk and taking a mobile phone charger, just in case
